Meet the Heat: An Experiential Training by the Mental Health Professionals of NYACP for ALL DIsciplines

Registration Date Extended to May 20th at noon!

Collaborative meetings are often heated, and knowing how to effectively come alongside difficult emotions is something at which family specialists excel.

Emotion-tied conflict can take many forms in a Collaborative case, any one of which can derail or abort the process.

After a brief introduction that will include important developments in the work of the family specialists, our colleagues will present three such conflicts via role plays: a fractured team; betrayal between the clients; and parenting plans.

The attendees will then break into small discussion groups in which they, with the help of a family specialist, will brainstorm ways to address the conflict. We will share the different possibilities that have been proposed and then watch the role play group demonstrate one route to resolution.

Please join us for this fun, informative and interactive evening - what a great way for us to network and learn!

Light dinner included
